  • Institutional Partnerships

    Institutions can partner with CORA to make certificate programs available to small groups of educators or the entire campus community.

    Once an institution has partnered with CORA, participants can use a unique code to register for and access our online programs. Participants can enroll in the programs most relevant to their work. Individual learners will be provided with login credentials to access our training site. Upon completion of a course, each participant will receive a certificate of completion and earn 1.5 CEU’s.

  • Men of Color and Education Suite

      1. Teaching Men of Color in the Community College
        This program is designed to enhance the preparedness of faculty in the community college to facilitate success among college men of color.
      2. Supporting Men of Color in the Community College
        This program is designed to enhance the preparedness of advisors, student service officers, and other support staff in the community college to facilitate success among college men of color.
      3. Teaching Boys and Young Men of Color
        This program assists to identify key environmental pressures that influence the learning experiences of pre-K through high school boys and young men of color, and specifies how societal factors systematically inhibit the success of some boys and young men of color.

  • Anti Racist Suite

      1. Course Design For Racial Equity
        This program aims to provide educators with the tools to engage in anti-racist course design, for online and in-person modalities, by enhancing your ability to identify what racism is and isn’t, and how it is different than other types of prejudice.

        Participants will learn how racism affects students in the community college classroom and will gain skills around anti-racist grading, assignment development, and lesson planning in a variety of disciplines.

      2. Black Ally Program
        One of the challenges our educational institutions are facing is attempting to address the realities of what is being referred to as the Racial Reckoning and the perceived equity gaps in student performance without proper framing or context.

        Participants in this multimedia, research-based professional learning experience will engage in a process of grappling with the underlying assumptions about race and identity that manifest themselves as anti-Blackness within the climate and outcomes within our institutions.

        Additionally, we will explore frameworks and strategies toward addressing this phenomenon that are sustainable, transformative and rooted in justice at both the individual and institutional levels.
